Product Description
A Multi-Appendage Creature Bait for Heavy Cover
Meet the Creature Feature 4.25", a multi-appendage soft plastic that looks like it escaped from a 1950s monster movie. Paddle legs, fluttering side arms, and a ribbed body push vibration through the water, giving it a big, bold presence even when it’s sitting still. Fish can feel it coming in murky water, and the action on the fall is often enough to trigger a strike. This 4.25-inch size offers a larger bass profile for heavy cover and jig trailers.
Photo comparison: Some photos show both the 3.25" and 4.25" Creature Feature for size comparison. This listing is for the 4.25" size only.

Best For
- Bass holding in heavy cover, flipped under docks, beside stumps, and into grass edges
- Deep-structure fishing as a jig trailer
- Stained and murky water
Use When
Reach for the Creature Feature 4.25" when you’re flipping and pitching into cover, fishing stained water, or looking for maximum action on a slow fall. Rig it weightless and it becomes a surface-swimming creature with a frog-like or bug-like topwater action.
How to Rig the Creature Feature 4.25"
- Texas rig: 3/0 EWG hook with a 1/4 - 1/2 oz bullet weight for heavy cover.
- Skirted jig trailer: Pair with a 1/4 - 3/8 oz swim or football skirted jig.
- Weightless topwater: Rig it weedless and swim it across the surface for a frog-like or bug-like action.
Why It Works
- Paddle legs: Thump and push water during the retrieve.
- Fluttering side arms: Move on the fall and during pauses.
- Ribbed body: Adds vibration and helps fish locate the bait in murky water.
- 4.25-inch profile: Offers a larger bass profile for heavy cover and jig trailers.

A Note from Finn: Why I Chose This Mold
When I saw this mold, I knew it was the one. Too often creature baits have a body that’s too thick, and a good hook set is hard to get, especially if you want to use a weedless hook. Others are too thin, and the hook rips at the nose if you’re using a keeper. These are perfect: good meat in the head and body, with nice thin legs for excellent action. The ribs keep the weight down while still giving it a nice bulky look.
