Product Description
A Tiny Visitor for Open-Water Panfish
The UFO 2" is a tiny visitor from another planet, and perch, crappie, and bluegill seem happy to welcome it. This multi-legged soft plastic’s disk-tipped legs and tail shake with the slightest movement, creating a lifelike buggy action. It’s a cute little bait that looks great in every color we make. The 2-inch size offers a slightly larger profile and wider gliding fall for open-water panfish fishing.
Photo comparison: Some photos show both the 1.1" and 2" UFO for size comparison. This listing is for the 2" size only.
Looking for another size? Try the smaller 1.1" UFO.
Best For
- Perch, crappie, and bluegill
- Open-water jigging and light-tackle setups
- Cold water and pressured panfish
Use When
Reach for the UFO 2" when panfish want a subtle, buggy target with a little more presence. Work it near structure on a jighead, add flash with a micro spinnerbait, or suspend it under a bobber.
How to Rig the UFO 2"
- Jighead: Size 6 hook with a 1/32 oz jighead for crappie and perch near structure.
- Micro spinnerbait rig: Adds flash to the flutter. Perch and bluegill have a hard time leaving it alone.
- Under a bobber: Suspend the bait near panfish and let its legs flutter with small movements.
Why It Works
- Disk-tipped legs and tail: Flutter and shake with minimal movement.
- 2-inch profile: Offers a slightly larger target and wider gliding fall for open-water panfish.
- Easy hooksets: The legs fold inward when fish commit.

A Note from Finn: Why I Chose This Mold
I found these molds while looking for an ice bait. Ice anglers sit straight above their bait, so it has to have action when it’s jigged up and down instead of pulled. These have a small disk at the end of each leg and the tail, so everything flutters on that vertical move. It turned out to be a huge hit for boat anglers targeting panfish and crappie too.
